Rodney is a 14 year old young man who loves his Phillies, video games and Nicholas Cage. When he had to do a report on Hawaii for school, he developed a
great interest in exploring the volcanoes of Hawaii and couldn’t think of a wish trip he would rather have.

Thanks to the Make-A-Wish® Foundation, Rodney and his family were able to have the trip of a lifetime to Hawaii for his wish. Rodney, along with his dad and his grandmother were able to take a tour over the volcanoes thanks to Sunshine Helicopters, and then the entire family was able to participate in the Island Breeze Luau. Most exciting was the Big Island Eco-Adventure Zipline Tour for Rodney, his dad and his step-mother. The adventure becan in Kapa’au where they had a ride through the North Kohala mountainside before hiking to the first zipline location. During the 4-hour tour Rodney got to zipline 3 more times, and have an off-road safari down the mountainside.

Rodney was very grateful to the sponsors of his wish, and said “I would sincerely like to give you thanks for making this wish come true for me and my family and I know that without your help this couldn’t have been possible”.
