Chloe's Mom and Dad write...

On behalf of my entire family, I would like to genuinely thank you and the many sponsors of the Make-A-Wish Foundation for providing the funding which enabled the fulfillment of our daughter's wish to meet the Disney Princesses.

As you can tell by the enclosed photographs, our children, Owen and Chloe, genuinely enjoyed themselves on each and every day of our vacation. From the moment the limousine picked us up, throughout the flight, and up through our arrival at the Give Kids the World Village, our trip was truly one that neither us nor our children will every be able to forget. Chloe has suffered from Congenital Heart Disease her entire life, and her diagnosis has sometimes hindered her ability to get pleasure from the activities enjoyed by other children her age. However, her condition wasn't able to diminish the enjoyment she felt during the trip. She and her brother Owen, enjoyed themselves greatly.

The enclosed pictures show just some of the highlights we experienced during our trip. Chloe is enjoying a soft pretzel while awaiting the entrance of Shamu at Sea World in one picture, while the next shows Chloe and her younger brother, Owen, dramatically posing before enjoying a meal at Sea World. Another of the pictures shows Chloe and Owen exiting Disney World, striking another exciting pose together. The staff at Give Kids the World Village sponsored a “Pirates and Princesses” party one evening, and the next two pictures show the children dressed up in their costumes. As you can tell by the photographs, Chloe tends to be quite dramatic. We feel very blessed to have her in our life, and we were doubly blessed by the opportunity the Make-A-Wish Foundation provided to our family.


There are not words eloquent enough to express the thankfulness that we feel by your generosity. Chloe has always been a special child, and we are so appreciative of the Make-A-Wish Foundation for making her feel as wonderful and special as she truly is. We will never forget your kindheartedness nor your generosity. We thank you again for the opportunity you provided to Chloe and her brother, Owen. We also want to thank you for the enjoyment you provided to us, her parents. Seeing Chloe's face light up when she finally met her princesses is a sight that we'll carry in our hearts forever. Words can never express the gratitude we feel. The final photo enclosed is one of our own Princess Chloe, whose presence is one that we also give thanks for every day.
