Molly and her family write:

Dear Make-A-Wish Foundation,

We would like to thank all of you for fulfilling Molly's very special wish. On August 4th, our family was driven to the Philadelphia Airport by a beautiful stretch limo. We then flew to the most unbelievable gorgeous destination in the world… MAUI!!

From the moment our plane touched down there, until the last glimpse of this paradise while flying home, it was truly a magical experience. The hotel Westin was spectacular as was the LAUA at Old Lahaina. The helicopter tour and the snorkeling adventures were so beautiful.

The time we spent in MAUI was so precious to all of us. We were so grateful that our son Timothy an ROTC cadet could join us after his AF training in Alabama. We all had the "THE TIME OF OUR LIVES" especially Molly who enjoyed EVERY MINUTE there. The timing of the trip was just perfect!

Please accept my apology for my delay in thanking you… One week after our return from Hawaii, we learned during Molly's routine scan and checkup that her cancer had returned. We then tried to move her into college until we had a treatment plan. On September 11th, she was withdrawn from college and started day #1, round #1 of chemo treatment at CHOP. She is going to be fine when we are finished with all of the treatments. We are just so appreciative that we experienced such an unforgettable "get away" to beautiful MAUI. Please know that you and the Make-A-Wish Foundation are in our prayers daily as we will ALWAYS remember your extreme kindness and generosity. You are EXTRAORDINARY people.
